I have a VB6 program that I am using InstallShield to make an installer for. The problem is that I have code that assigns a vbcommandeo to a form when a certain event occurs and then unhides a button. I have it setup to give an error when the button is not visible so that the program fails and the install is aborted. But since the button is already hidden, the program fails saying the form is not available to unhide the button. The end result is that the program needs to be installed twice to complete. I also have a couple of unlock controls that don’t work properly. If the installer completes successfully, they will unlock the controls properly. If it fails they won’t. How do I get the unlock controls to work?
